Busy as a Lawyer - Friday

Yes, I am now going to start making up my own sayings, if most of them happen to make no sense, blame my parents, they raised me. I had three lectures today. I managed to sleep in so late I missed the first two (the 0900 one doesn't appear on my timetable). While waiting for my 3rd lecture I did such things as contemplate sending my "Ever luvin' Uncle Brett" a sack of money, being nice I'd be giving him 0 APR. Sadly I can't do that as my room is such a mess I can't find the several thousand pounds of cash I stole from my third bank heist the other day. I also read the comments to my blog from yesterday. I went in for my lecture, took down several times as many notes as normal (woo) and then used the University's Wireless connection to download a Gigabyte of data in 10 minutes. Here are pictures of Firefox downloading the file. It at a healthy 1840KB/sec, slowed a little to a (still healthy) 1527KB/sec and finnally to 1621KB/sec. Hey! It sped up at the end! Must have been the extra browsing I was doing in the background. I later walked to Tesco with the speed of an Impatient Eagle (I'm not good at this phrase thing), got 4 items and queued for 15 minutes. On the way I'd walked right past the cash point and only remembered to go back and get cash out when I actually got to Tesco, this is most unlike me and I was wondering what was happening. I was further irritated by the queue. I got my stuff and walked to the bus. But alas, the bus left a minute early and I didn't get it. What was going on? Then God showed me, Sarah was walking home and rather than sit on a bus and shave 5 minutes off my journey, I got to walk most of the way home with a friend. For the rest of the day I wrestled with a database challange on WoA. Then I went over to Lorna's for dinner. I'm not sure what they were cooking but it was apparently ruined so we had an indian instead. After dinner I had an "interesting" time with Lorna designing the CU website. She didn't notice the little link I left on the front page. She did however come up with the "solution" to Helen and Phil's pictures on the LT page, namely putting pics of myself and herself in there. I'm trying to work out the best way to get better pictures.
