Bwahahaha - Saturday

I was going to get up at 0800, then, thought better of it and dozed until about 1000. While doing WoA results I was also talking to Lorna over MSN then over the phone. I asked her "how to compliment a Lady". After telling me, she inquired as to who this Lady was. I gave her some terrible clues (in that they really didn't narrow down the search much) and as soon as she suggested one person, I'd neither confirm nor deny them, and suggest how it could be someone else. After she went round in a circle for about an hour she gave up. Other than teasing Lorna I've really not done a lot today except read more of the Screwtape letters. They're very good and I've decided I will read it at least twice.

BBQ - Friday

I got up at about 1000. The morning consisted of no breakfast, some revision (I have an Exam Tuesday), laundry and also WoA. About 1500 ish I went over to Huw's where we had late lunch and Halo, then we went to the BBQ not too long after that. The BBQ was very good. We played Football and had a good time. I even scored a Goal! One of the guys gets a bit competative and told me that if I kicked him again (it was an accident) he'd kick me again, I promptly ignored him. Edventually we all got tired and exhausted (cold air really does not help a lot) and went to sit down. After the football I got a bucket of sea water to put out the BBQ and was about to throw the remains (not a lot) over Colin when someone else (I can't remember his name, that's a bad sign for me) tipped it over me instead. I got more and sneaked up on him. Everybody suddenly started looking so I hid, climbed over a small wall and saw that he was waiting around a corner I'd been about to go round, I sneaked around a bit more and then threw it all over the back of him. He took it in good humour and Martin got it on his camera (he recorded a movie of it). I got two books today from a pair of Ladies at the CU, "The Screwtape Letters" by C.S. Lewis and also "Jesus the Master" by John Pollock. The first is a fictional corrospondance between a senior Devil and a junior Devil and I'm looking forwards to reading it. The second book is a biography of Jesus and apparently close to a combination of all the Gospels, I'm looking forwards to reading that too.

Exam! - Thursday

I got up sometime in the morning, had breakfast and revised. I was worried about this exam, I've failed part one and have to come back for a referal which aside from anything else is just plain annoying. This exam would be a rather nasty one, I just knew it. I went in and revised more. First half of the test was Multiple choice, always helpful. Then there were two parts, we had to choose one. One part involved a lot of maths I knew I couldn't do because I couldn't remember all the equations, the second involved drawing a diagram. Not only did I remember how to draw it but there were handy instructions incase I forgot. Suffice to say I chose to draw stuff, not only was it easier, it was funner :D In the afternoon I did some WoA and actually tidied up my room! My Dad arrived about 1800 ish and we went to the Thatched Cottage where I had a half a chickein but only ate half of that. After that we went to ASDA to get enough food to last me till I go home. It was nice to see my Dad again. In the evening I did a little more WoA, then helped Brierley with her computer, then helped her and Amanda revise (not quite sure how, but apparently me being there helped). Then I went to bed.

Preperation - Wednessday

I got up at about 1000, then for the rest of the day tried and failed to revise. Anything I tried to do resulted in me feeling tired within 5 minutes. Suffice to say I could be feeling slightly more confident about the exam. On the plus side I felt more awake toward the end of the day so did revise then

It's a bit late - Tuesday

At the time of writing it's 0250 on Wednessday morning, not a good start to a day I'd planned to consist of lots of revision. I got up at about 0900 ish, did some WoA stuff and had breakfast. I then went over to Jo's house to fix her internet connection. About two weeks ago myself and Sam set it up so I assumed that it'd be a fairly serious problem if it'd broken already. I got there, asked a couple of questions about when it'd stopped working and suchlike. I unplugged the modem and router, waited 30 seconds, plugged in the modem, another 30 seconds and the router was in too. I connected to the network with my computer and I had internet access. The remainder of my "tech support" consisted of explaining how to repeat the exceedingly advanced process I had just performed. I spent the rest of the day reading, revising and WoAing. Rather than have dinner at 1700, I went over to Huw's and we had a nice Tesco dinner before recording the podcast. We then played Halo for a while. The origional plan was to play till about 1025 and I could get the 1030 bus. 1030 came and went without us noticing and so I would have to walk, I left at about 0130.

Curb your Tongue - Monday

I meant to go to the Prayer meeting at 0830. I set my alarm to play BuzzerX at 0730 (it's loud and it'll wake you up). However, shortly after unplugging my mouse last night, I pulled out the power cable (they were twisted together) and the computer went to sleep a bit later. I therefore woke up at about 0900 and got up. I spent the day reading, revising and WoAing. CU this evening was about watching what you say. It was a good lesson to be reminded of. On the way to the pub I tried to get the Queen of Latvia (Siän) to spill the beans on the story, but she wonuldn't tell me. I played several games of chess. Sarah and Co left in the car, they'd have given me a lift but I was going to walk Jo back then walk the rest of the way myself (it's really not that far). Then it turned out she was getting a lift so I just walked/jogged on my own. Most people would have said it was a horrible night, however I for one quite like a mild pattering of rain on a cool night, it was very "calming" as such. I got back, found some people whose warhammer forum had gone Kaput were going to take me up on my offer of server space and so began uploading stuff. Then I went to bed.

Wind and Rain - Sunday

I got up really late, about 0940 and therefore had to rush breakfast. The morning service was good and interesting. After the service we went to the Thatched Cottage for lunch, it was really nice and for some reason Siän said she had a nickname (or something) as the Queen of Latvia. She neglected to tell us why. After an excellent lunch we went down to Southsea common to get something someone had lost there last night (there was a party but I was busy with WoA). About that time it started to tip down with rain and get very very windy. On the way back to the car everybody but Jo, Siän and myself got very wet. Since the wind was blowing from the right I took my jacket off and held one corner infront of me, let the other end blow taut against me. I then walked to the right of the two ladies and simply sheltered us, for some reason nobody picked up on the good idea and we didn't end up too wet. We went around to the Mitchell's for tea, it was very nice and kept me going till about now (0027 on Monday). The evening service was the last part about the Da Vinci code, to quote Sarah "Dan Brown doesn't have a leg to stand on" (with regards to the "facts" in his book). I walked home from Church (faster than the car as Sarah is really kind and drops people off everywhere) and then did some WoA stuff.
